limited view chaotic breakfast
my room faced an interior courtyard, so there wasn't much of a view (i guess i expected more daylight). also, the breakfast setup was pretty chaotic. people were bumping into each other trying to get coffee, and it was hard to find a clean table. it seemed like they could have used more staff during the morning rush. i also think the juice should be fresh.

the location was great, near the railway station and key spots. the staff were both friendly and helpful . i found the breakfast to be quite enjoyable, with many choices available.
i found the bed a bit too firm, it made it difficult to get comfortable.

friendly staff good location small room limited breakfast
I found the staff friendly, and they were helpful with directions! The location was also pretty good. It was close to many attractions, so getting around was easy.
My room was rather small. There was not much space to move around. The breakfast choices were also limited, and a cooked breakfast required an extra fee.

it was nice i could leave my luggage upon arrival. i really liked the tea served in teapots. It felt very homely. breakfast had a good variety of items.

the guest house is a short walk from the train station. micklegate bar, the entrance to the city centre, is just across the road. it is also convenient to walk into town from here.
