totally amazing stay!

everyone was super nice, the staff were great! the owner, john, greeted us and mike checked us in super quick. christian knew all the best shops, a lifesaver and louise made breakfast so yummy! definitely worth paying extra for a sea view with a balcony, sunsets were beautiful. i'm so happy with my decision to stay there.
the shower screen was totally coming away from the rails so showering was a little difficult. it needs a quick fix!

the staff helped with luggage upon arrival, very thoughtful. the receptionist was friendly, it was a nice start to my visit. i liked the unlimited tea and coffee provided in my room. the balcony was a great spot to relax during the day.
the hotel is a bit dated, and the decor shows some wear.

The staff were very helpful and polite ! i found them happy and cheerful. the housekeeper was professional, polite, and friendly. This ensured the room remained super clean.

the room was clean and quiet, and it had everything i needed. the bed was comfy, made for good sleep. the kettle worked perfectly, and the shower had good water pressure.

our room included a balcony with SEA views. I found the staff very friendly and helpful. Food at the bar was good with a nice selection of drinks. Staff ALWAYS helped.
the telephone customer service was A bit abrupt. I called at breakfast time. They did not call me back at a more convenient time.

mixed feelings about the stay
excellent locationbroken blindmould in the bathroom
the location was excellent, just what i wanted.
the room was very tired and needs work. for example, the shower base had a split that had been covered by a plaster. a hole in the ceiling above had been stuffed with tissue paper. the blind was broken and there was mould in the bathroom.

The beachfront location provided AMAZING views from the balcony. The restaurant downstairs had fantastic food! Everything was so quiet by 10 pm, and I had no trouble sleeping.
The kettle was difficult to fill in the small sink.
