Review summary
Based on recent reviews

The Market House enjoys a superb location in the heart of Glastonbury, just steps away from the Abbey entrance and close to the Tor Hopper bus. Guests frequently appreciate the spacious rooms, some with lovely light and effective blackout blinds, as well as the convenience of tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast offers a choice of options, from a full English to toast and cereal. While the pub downstairs is generally well-received, a few guests have occasionally noted noise from the pub, and some bathrooms may need updating.

cramped shower room loud noise
the location was central, and the side entrance provided convenient access.
The shower room felt quite cramped, and its windows faced directly into other properties. the noise from the pub downstairs was much louder than i anticipated. It continued late into the evening. this made it difficult to relax and sleep well. i was not expecting a separate bathroom. It had no frosted glass, offering little privacy.

Good Location, Nice Room

nice variety blackout blinds fluffy towels
The breakfast menu had variety. It ranged from a full English to toast, jam, and cereal. Drinks were made to order. Self-service juices were available. My room was bright. It had blackout blinds and curtains. Tea and coffee making facilities were in the room. The towels were fluffy and white. I liked the pub downstairs too. It was clean and had a beer garden. The staff were helpful.
I found that there was some noise from a live band. The band played under my room. It continued until midnight. It really was horrible.
