mixed feelings about my stay
tiring stairssmall bedroom
i did not like climbing the stairs to the third floor. it was especially difficult with luggage. breakfast in the small bedroom felt cramped as the space was very small.

i found the staff members very helpful regarding directions. the hotel also offered complimentary coffee, tea, fruit, and cake throughout the day. i also appreciated the hand written welcome note with chocolate that was waiting in my room. the bed was very comfortable.
the only issue i experienced was the noise from other guests returning at night. the rooms are not very soundproof so i could easily hear sounds between the floors. this did affect my sleep quality a bit .

the room was clean i cannot deny that
i found some issues breakfast was delivered in a thermos but it tasted strongly of coffee even though i ordered tea another day the thermos was damaged and barely lukewarm there were insects in the room staff claimed they entered through a window i never opened

the staff was cute, and i found the location convenient for exploring. i appreciated the breakfast delivered directly to my room at my chosen time , a really nice touch. the complimentary afternoon treats and access to port wine in the lobby were a great bonus. the room's setup felt more luxurious than some 5-star hotels i have stayed in.
