Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu enjoys an exceptional location, with Senso-ji Temple and Nakamise Street right around the corner. Many guests appreciate the generously sized rooms; for instance, the Kiku room offers ample space, and even the smaller Sakura room is smartly designed with plenty of storage. The onsen experience stands out, particularly with views of the Tokyo Skytree, though some guests have noted the public bath's limited capacity. Coffee and tea are available in the lobby, adding to the convenient and comfortable stay.

Traditional stay in perfect spot

helpful staffonsen experiencewindow absence
This inn is in a very active, touristy area, but it felt peaceful inside. The staff helped book restaurant reservations and called our next hotel for us. The onsen was great. it was very popular so getting in was difficult on some nights.
My room did not have windows or natural light.

I did not have a chance to have breakfast. Though i will on my next stay. There is a restaurant across the way that spruik for breakfast clientele. i did not try it. street food is also available.
