Rye115 Hotel - A boutique hotel in Østerbro with organic breakfast, vintage decor, and shared living spaces

Set in a 1905 apartment in Østerbro, Rye115 Hotel features 20 individually furnished rooms across two floors, each decorated with vintage Nordic furniture, premium bedding, and bathrobes. A free organic breakfast with homemade bread, pastries, and cold cuts is served in the mornings, and guests can enjoy afternoon tea with cake on the terrace. Public spaces include a shared lounge and dining room, while nearby attractions include Fælledparken (1 km), Parken Stadium (for football matches), and the inner city of Copenhagen, accessible via a 10-minute bus ride on lines 1A or 14 or a short walk from Trianglen Metro Station (M3).

Pros

Østerbro is one of the greenest areas in the city, with easy access to Fælledparken and coastal walks.

Although untraditional, Rye115 Hotel's vintage decor and communal spaces create a homely atmosphere instead of a typical hotel setting.

Sustainable practices include organic food, eco-friendly laundry, and repurposed vintage furniture.

Early breakfast (from 7 AM) and afternoon tea with jazz music enhance the guest experience.

Very close to Trianglen Metro Station (200 meters), providing quick access to central Copenhagen.

Cons

Rooms do not have private bathrooms; facilities are shared.

Limited onsite dining options beyond breakfast and afternoon tea; guests may need to explore nearby cafes and restaurants.

adequate stay with some drawbacks

shared bathroomthin walls
The shared bathroom situation wasn't ideal. it felt more like a hostel in that regard. also, the walls seemed quite thin, and noise traveled easily. i could hear other guests at various times, and it disrupted my sleep a couple of times.
