Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The Royal Scots Club offers a blend of historical charm and convenience, often described as a "home away from home". Many guests appreciate the large, comfortable bedrooms, some with views of the city or the water. It is common for guests to find the location ideal, with easy access to St Andrew's Square and the airport tram, though the tram route involves an uphill walk. While some guests have found rooms in the annex to be a bit cold, the hotel generally provides a pleasant and well-appointed experience, complete with courtesy trays offering tea, coffee, and biscuits.

Very nice Scottish Experience!!!

cozy hotelgeorgian streetcourtesy traycoffee machine
This cozy hotel is located on a gorgeous Georgian street. It overlooks a lovely wooded park, SUCH a peaceful setting. My room in the annex at 34A was fantastic! It featured a courtesy tray with teas, coffee, biscuits, a kettle, and a coffee machine.
The breakfast slot ended a little early, from 7:30 to 9:30. If I stay again, I will probably skip breakfast. I just like to sleep in a little bit later on vacation.
Dining
9/10
Breakfast included a selection of tasty options. I suggest they offer MORE fresh fruits for a complete experience. The dining room itself was beautiful and made mornings very special.

The coffee machine lacked instructions. It only filled a quarter of a cup because it had run out of water. This was not obvious. I found a kettle eventually. Too many cushions cluttered the bed for no reason.
