the meals were amazing. the staff were very kind and attentive to all needs. there were plenty of parking spaces available on site (a big plus for me!).
the room i was in was located up two flights of stairs.

i found the staff to be very professional. they were polite and helpful, in my opinion. my room received replenished toiletries, towels, soaps, teas & coffees every day. i definitely felt at home .
my room was positioned off the bar. it was right next to two sets of toilets. these toilets smelled quite unpleasant at times. the corridor was also a bit noisy because bar customers used it.

the location was acceptable, i guess. it did it's job.
my room vibrated whenever some lorries went by. the vibrations were really noticeable, and i wonder if they'll fix that problem. also, there weren't many good beers available on tap, a toastie was so slow that it took a whole 15 minutes.

the manager was understanding and gave us a ground floor room close to the car park!!! i was so relieved by this generous decision. the restaurant had AMAZING food, really some of the best i've tasted, and it's such great value. i can't wait to return!!!
the noise in the hotel sometimes carried a bit, but it wasn't a major issue.
