poor ventilationharsh light
the bathroom lacked windows, and the ventilation did not function correctly. this may result in dampness problems in what is otherwise a modern bathroom. the bedside table lamps emitted a very bright, harsh light, and i believe a change in light bulbs would be beneficial.

the room was super clean. it had many useful items. the village was wonderfully quiet. the location was a perfect base for exploring. i appreciated the kind and flexible hosts. the room was also well equipped and comfortable. i loved that it was near st erth and st ives.
there were no windows in the bathroom. the ventilation was not working properly. i saw a bit of damp starting in the bathroom. the bedside table lamps had very bright, harsh light.

nearby, the town had several restaurants that offered fresh seafood. i noticed one cafe specializing in cornish pasties. there was also a pub that served traditional meals all day. it was all very convenient.

The hosts provided detailed directions. I really appreciated that. The room had modern decor and felt warm and clean. The bed was comfortable. A selection of continental breakfast items were available in the room, I liked the fresh milk and juice in the fridge. Parking was available. Made exploring the area easy and convenient.
The bedside table lamps emitted a rather harsh light, I think softer bulbs might improve the ambiance.

i found the location easily with waze. the room was spacious. i appreciated the comfortable bed. the large tv had netflix.
i noticed there were no windows in the bathroom, and the ventilation did not seem to work properly. it looked like damp might start causing issues in the otherwise clean bathroom.

The room decoration was modern and the en suite had everything needed. I found the bed very comfortable, with plenty of space and storage (perfect for organizing my travel gear). The breakfast arrangement was good. Continental items were provided, along with a toaster and microwave. Scones with clotted cream arrived on the second day, a lovely surprise.
I could hear noise from the host upstairs. This occurred primarily in the late evening, and it did impact my ability to fall asleep quickly. Quieter evenings would improve the experience.
