Staff members were friendly and helpful. Food portions were generous and tasty. The location offers good access to attractions in Cornwall. I found the quiet setting a real bonus for relaxation.
The room was somewhat tired and could benefit from a revamp. (It wasn't terrible, just not as fresh as the rest of the place.) I hope they consider this for future upgrades.

the venue had ample parking and was easy to find. i noted the bar and restaurant area looked charming with dried hops and fairy lights. the staff were joyful, made my arrival enjoyable.
the tv fed by wifi kept dropping out, so i constantly had to re-enter passwords. breakfast seemed unorganized and rather slow. the bed felt very low, impacting its comfort somewhat.

The venue provides ample parking. It is conveniently located for accessing various attractions (Praa Sands, St Michael's Mount). The bar and restaurant were charming with dried hops and fairy lights. The dining areas were busy, and our evening meal was delicious (i even ordered one more portion!).
The room did not have a wardrobe or much space for clothes.
