Mixed Feelings About This Stay

The breakfast offered a super good start to the day.
The room was small. I could barely move with my luggage inside and the furniture felt quite outdated. The bed squeaked loudly whenever I moved. the shower mostly ran cool or cold rather than hot.

The staff was very polite and helpful. A wide selection of breakfast items was available and of good quality. Bar prices were reasonable, and i got a drink voucher for each day i waived room cleaning.

I appreciated the location. It was a short walk to the ski bus stop, serving the matterhorn express. the gornergrat and sunnega funicular were also easily accessible. breakfast offered many options, which i liked very much.
the room could have used a little more light, as there were only three small wall lamps.

the staff was really amazing. they shared good spots to enjoy a view around the village. the breakfast was good, and the rooftop view was amazing. its a view i won't forget.
the doors are locked at 8pm because they don't have a night manager. one morning the woman receptionist was rude and abrupt. i couldnt believe it was the same person i met before.

unpleasant odorworn mattress
The bathroom had an unpleasant odor that seemed to come from the drain. i found this quite bothersome. It lingered. also, the bed was not very comfortable. the mattress felt worn. i hoped for better bedding. i was disappointed by the sleep quality.
