Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
L'Arveyron Open House is often praised for its beautiful views, especially of Mont Blanc from some rooms, and its convenient location close to trails and a ski bus stop, though the city center is a short drive away. Guests appreciate the clean and cosy rooms, some featuring built-in bunks, along with the excellent breakfast offering a vast variety of food. While the hotel generally provides great value, a few guests have found some of the sharing dorm rooms to be quite small.

convenient locationpadlocked saunano room guarantee
The location was convenient to trails. A bus stop was very close by.
The room was not good. I was given a double after requesting a twin. I was told there was no guarantee of getting what I asked for, so I wondered why they even asked in the first place. The sauna was padlocked shut, a real disappointment.

The hotel had a superb breakfast with ample options. I found beautiful walking paths right next to a stream close to the hotel. My room included all necessary amenities and also had a balcony. The balcony faced toward the gorgeous mountains.
My room was not ready when I arrived at 5 pm, so I waited an hour. I found the room quite small and not spacious enough to keep my belongings. There was no air conditioning. which I found unpleasant.

great value stay in a nature-filled setting

The location had fine views. it was a short bus ride to town. i enjoyed access to trails right from the carpark. the restaurant within walking distance was a nice bonus. the built-in bunks were great. They don't move when someone climbs up or down.
my room was quite small. it lacked a communal pantry with hot water and a microwave for everyone to use. this made simple tasks more difficult than they needed to be.
