Imu Hotel Kyoto is praised for its modern and clean vibe, offering comfortable rooms and great amenities like a cozy bar where guests can enjoy free sake. The hotel's location is convenient, with many shops and restaurants nearby, and it's also within walking distance of the Pokémon Center. While the European-style breakfast with mostly vegan options wasn't to everyone's taste, many guests found the hotel to be excellent value for money. The spacious shower is a standout feature, offering fantastic water pressure.

the free coffee, tea, and water bar was a nice perk.
the air conditioning made noises when turned both on and off. i checked another room and it had the same problem. the staff suggested opening the window at night, but that let in noise and cold air, so i ended up using earplugs.
