the location IS convenient. the room was large enough and included a television. breakfast offered enough variety to start the day. staff was helpful during check in and check out.
i had to carry my suitcase up, slightly inconvenient.

i really enjoyed the central location. the staff helped with directions and booked a water taxi for me (very convenient!). the room overlooked a quiet courtyard and was very clean. i found excellent restaurants nearby.

The quadruple room included a safe for valuables and a useful minibar. It was also cleaned daily. a kettle and a selection of teas were also available in the room, a nice touch.

the hotel is a short walk from the arsenale vaporetto stop. st mark's square is also less than ten minutes away on foot. the hotel sits in a quiet area away from the main tourist crowds.

The hotel is very close to the main attractions. It is easy to walk to many restaurants. The staff members were friendly and offered advice on local things to do. I found delicious restaurants in the back alley with better prices than those on the water.
The air conditioning was not working in the room. Even in March, the rooms were very hot. Cold air was definitely needed.

The breakfast offered a huge range of choices. The service was good and included a coffee service. I found the breakfast to be yummy and started each day well with the variety of fresh options available.
