Violeta was real kind at breakfast. Her smile shined so bright in the morning sun. The hotel is so close to San Marco Piaza, I found a treasure there. Restaurants surround the building, I enjoyed every meal.
I did not know passports were needed for check in. This was a real surprise for me. The front desk clerk was not especially nice about it, it saddened me.

the location was acceptable, close to main attractions.
The air conditioner was broken during the nights. It was quite hot. i also lost my macbook, and the owner was not helpful at all. she didn't want to check the security camera footage or ask the cleaner anything. It was disappointing.

expensive pricedistant staff
the price felt excessively high relative to what the hotel provided. i paid over 200 euros per night and that did not include breakfast. our room overlooked the canals, but i could hear gondolas starting at 6 am. also, the staff seemed distant and unapproachable, quite disappointing to me.

An Acceptable Stay, but Problems Existed

The location was central to many attractions.
The air conditioner did not work , so it was quite hot. I lost my MacBook , and when I asked for help, the owner was not helpful. She would not ask the cleaner, and she refused to disclose the CCTV footage.

excellent location, friendly staff
excellent locationpolite staffsafe feeling
the location proved excellent it was near piazza san marco. the vaporetto was very close to the building. i appreciated the 24-hour reception and felt safe. the breakfast service was good and the staff were polite.
i noticed the air conditioning was not the most efficient.

the room was spacious and clean. the decor gave a venetian feel with well-kept vintage architecture. the bathroom was modern and included both a bathtub and a shower this helped create a relaxing atmosphere.
