My room faced the busy road and there was lots of noise. The window didn't close properly. The bed was too hard, and so were the pillows.

the hotel provided easy access from the south via the tyne tunnel. i found the free on-site parking very convenient. i thought the pub was friendly with good food available during the day.
i noticed some noise from the road. this was due to the room facing a junction on a main road. i could often hear traffic and emergency service sirens.

the room was reasonably clean
i found the noise to be a real problem the window in my room wouldn't close properly because the latch was broken the traffic noise from the nearby junction was constant and sirens seemed to go off regularly to make matters worse the walls were thin i could hear conversations and every time someone used the toilet in the next room it was loud

Excellent Stay Close to Everything!

I found parking easy with the large parking area. The pub downstairs had a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff were friendly. I was amazed by the cleanliness of the rooms.
the window latch didn't work properly. As a result, the room was quite noisy due to traffic from the nearby junction.

the staff were friendly and helpful. breakfast was good and i found the evening meal quite enjoyable too. there was sufficient car parking space available.
attention to detail in the bedroom could improve , i noticed there were no drawers or cupboards. it was difficult for two people to unpack and hang clothes. the bathroom had no hooks , and the bathroom soap was nearly empty.
