Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Guests often appreciate the hotel's setting, particularly enjoying the green area out front. The family rooms, with their adjoining layout, are frequently mentioned as spacious, clean, and well-equipped with generously stocked tea/coffee stations. Many find the food excellent, with good portions, and some have noted that the bathrooms could benefit from better lighting around the mirror. The option of 2 for £12 cocktails also seems to be a highlight for some.

Acceptable Stay with Noticeable Issues

faulty towel railinadequate heating
I found some aspects lacking. The towel rail in my room was faulty. It detached when I removed a towel. I reported it at checkout, but received no apology (it felt dismissive). The room's temperature was barely adequate, even after I reported a heating problem. The parking area resembled an industrial estate more than a hotel entrance.
