Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The Cliftonville Hotel is appreciated for its elegant character, with some guests specifically mentioning the beautiful art deco style. Many enjoy the sea views, especially from rooms like the tower rooms, while others have held successful private events in the Henry Blogg room. While some found certain aspects a little dated, and some have found the rooms small, the hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from Cromer's shops, church, and museum.

Victorian Charm with Modern Comforts

victorian architectureample seatingcomfortable bedlimited space
The building features lovely Victorian architecture. I found ample seating areas throughout the hotel. The breakfast was GREAT and the staff. The room was super clean and the bed was comfortable.
The room seemed a little small, and more handrails in the bathroom would be helpful for those who need them. It was a minor issue, but something to consider.
Location

The hotel's location is excellent. It overlooks the sea, providing amazing, uninterrupted views, and it is ideal for coastal walks. The position is very convenient to access to the town centre. I easily walked around to visit local shops.

The staff were helpful. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced for the selection.
I was given a small double bedroom. The shower stall had a poor design and was tiny. Water taps took up 1/3 of the available space. The folding door made it hard to get in. The parking was also poor.

The breakfast buffet offered a large variety of choices. Freshly cooked options were also available. I ordered them. The reception staff were friendly, and they were also very helpful.
The bathroom was small. The bathroom blind had some black marks. I noticed them. The fan in the room was not efficient enough. I felt hot.

The hotel featured a really great location right on the sea front, i loved it. i also appreciated the good vibes at the hotel. The terrace was nice for evening drinks. i especially enjoyed the amazing staff. breakfast was also great.
The car parking situation wasn't ideal, it looked to be full . the lobby also felt a bit cluttered with some old and worn sofas. They gave it a slightly messy look.
