the full english breakfast were a delight, it include great ingredients. the location is perfect, near to the cathedral and grounds, it are great for a wander.
the room are above the kitchen and extractor fan. this was in use for twelve hours and it was annoyin.

perfect breakfast great location easy parking small room weak shower pressure creaky floorboards
the breakfast WAS perfect, full of flavour, and set me up for the day! the location was also a real winner, so close to everything I wanted to see. parking was easy, too, with plenty of space right next to the inn.
my room felt a little small, BUT it was only really noticeable because I had quite a bit of luggage with me. the shower pressure wasn't the best, it was a bit weak. finally, the floorboards creaked QUITE a bit, especially late at night.

helpful staff excellent location inn car park attentive service
the breakfast was really good. the staff were attentive and helpful, nothing seemed too much. the location is excellent, close to the town centre and amenities. i could leave my car in the inn car park and explore the surroundings easily.
the water pressure in the shower was a little low during peak hours.

My standard double room had clean and bright decor. It included all necessary amenities. the bed provided comfortable rest. I appreciated the extra pillows available in the wardrobe. i had a really great sleep.

The location of the hotel is ideal for exploring the area. the town centre is only a short walk away. It provides access to shops and historical sites. the hotel is easy to find.

fantastic location with amazing staff
central location friendly staff excellent breakfast
I found the location excellent, as it was walkable from shops, the theatre, and the cathedral. the breakfast was really good. I especially appreciated receiving two poached eggs instead of just one. all staff members were cute and friendly. They gave great service. the beer garden had a nice mix of shaded and unshaded tables, and the live music was quiet and stopped early.
The shower room needed a complete upgrade. The shower tray was stained, and the shower head would not stay in place. there was also nowhere to put toiletries, and the paintwork was grubby.

on-site, free parking was available, a definite bonus when visiting the area. the beer garden offered both shaded and unshaded seating options. the live music stopped at a reasonable hour, around bedtime.

The room included tea and coffee facilities, which i definitely used and enjoyed. a fan was also provided in the room. there was plenty of storage space available. This was useful even for a shorter, multiple-night stay.

the hotel is situated within a five minute walk to the city center. the cathedral and shops are easily accessible. the festival theatre is about a 15-20 minute walk from the premises.

a restful visit
warm welcome tasty breakfast ideal location
i received a warm welcome. the breakfast offered was very tasty. the location was ideal for exploring, close to the centre. i found parking on site very convenient, it helped greatly.
I found the walls between the rooms were thin. Noise easily traveled through.

a little underwhelming stay
television remote musty odor
the breakfast CHOICE was acceptable and filling.
I found THE cleanliness somewhat lacking, especially in the bathroom. There was a noticeable buildup of grime. the television remote in my standard twin room didn't work, i struggled to get it going. there was also a disconcerting musty odor in the hallway on my floor, it lingered and was unpleasant.
