the room was very clean, i noted. the bed felt comfortable. a kettle was available, accompanied by tea and coffee (a small but significant detail). the staff was very friendly and helpful, i felt. breakfast included options catering for gluten-free diets, though sausages were unavailable.

the location is near shops and not far from the sea, a fact i appreciated. it is within walking distance to the beach, shops, amenities and bus routes. albert road, with several restaurants and markets, is approximately 100 meters away.

the host provided parking permits, helpful. the staff was nice and kind. upon arrival earlier than the stated check-in time, hazel welcomed us and checked us in. (this demonstrated adaptability) the housekeeper also proved helpful.
