Acceptable Stay Near the Harbour

convenient location simple room communal kitchen train noise loud noise breakfast unavailability
The location was really convenient for exploring the harbour. The room was simple. A maid cleaned the room each morning of my stay and topped up the tea. The communal kitchen was available and had good equipment.
The trains made sleep difficult from around 0430. The noise from the trains was very loud, even with double glazing. I did not eat breakfast since the restaurant did not seem ready at the stated opening time.

Excellent Location and Comfortable Room

ideal room comfy bed
The location suited me very well as it was near the station. The location was also near the gosport ferry and a stone's throw from gunwharf. The room was ideal with a comfy bed and a nice bathroom. I enjoyed the use of the shared kitchen.
Dining

The breakfast took place in the sister hotel a short walk away, at the keppel hotel, 200 yards away. The breakfast room was well-equipped and the served breakfast was both excellent and generous, so that was a plus.
