surprisingly lovely stay

The check-in was simple and i received such a warm welcome. my room had fans, great for the heat. the bed proved comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep. Breakfast was also plentiful and delicious..
The hallways need some attention. The carpets had visible dirt. i noticed this particularly detracted from the otherwise clean and pleasant atmosphere. perhaps a more frequent cleaning schedule would help.

The room included a proper hairdryer, which i appreciated. it also had fans for managing the room temperature. the bed was large and comfortable. I slept well.

I stayed one night mid-week during February. I requested a 6 PM dinner reservation and gluten-free options for my partner. Check-in was smooth (I was promptly informed about my dinner reservation). The room was spacious, contained a comfortable bed, and provided a good selection of tea and coffee.
Four of the eight light bulbs in the room were not working.

the room did not have curtains, just a venetian blind. this did little to block light. i found no shelving in the bathroom to place my toiletries. the shower pressure was also somewhat weak.

The rooms were quite spacious and offered excellent value for the money! We found parking at the rear of the rooms very convenient, it added to the charm. The king size bed was clean. We enjoyed the lovely breakfast.

The location near the town center proved convenient. The restaurant had amazing lasagna. I used the gluten free pastries at breakfast. The room, Hastings, featured a very nice bed.
Limited parking existed at the hotel. I found public parking a short walk away, costing £3.50 for 24 hours.
