mixed feelings, some issues encountered.
small roomnoisy street
the room size was smaller than i expected. the street was noisy all night. it was hard to sleep with the window open. the air conditioning was also difficult to adjust. the staff didn't seem to be that helpful with this issue.

the hotel's location was great it was a short walk to the old port. the staff was friendly and provided useful information. complimentary coffee and snacks were available in the breakfast room throughout the day.
the room lacked a mini-fridge which would have been convenient. the street outside was quite crowded and noisy especially in the evenings. i noticed some dust on the curtains and furniture suggesting a need for more thorough cleaning.

The staff were helpful. They quickly addressed my inquiries. the location is convenient. it is close to the port and canebiere boulevard. a nice buffet breakfast was provided. Also tea, coffee and snacks are available in the common area 24/7
The hotel has an old structure. The rooms felt a bit cramped. the air conditioning wasn't working properly, made the room uncomfortable

warm welcomepersonal touchesdusty furniture
the reception staff gave a very warm welcome, and they let me check in early. my room was prepared, and they added some nice personal touches. i will stay here again. the location worked very well, and i had free water and hot drinks.
The hotel had superficial cleaning. The curtains were dusty and marked. the furniture was dusty too. i found this detracted from my stay

The location was central and convenient to many attractions I did appreciate that.
The air conditioning was not adjustable I found this uncomfortable I was cold but could not change the temperature The staff mentioned it was blocked in all rooms which was disappointing.
