Acceptable stay, but some issues noted
faulty showerexcessive rate
I found a few things disappointing . The shower was quite problematic. The temperature control didn't work properly. The water was either scalding hot or cold, I couldn't adjust it to a comfortable temperature. It took some time to stop the water flow completely, frustrating. The room rate increased SIGNIFICANTLY for an extra night. That felt excessive.

I was very thankful for the excellent location. It was easy to walk to the town and buses that took us to Exeter. The breakfast was great and I found it very satisfying.
The shower had many deposits and I did not like that. The kettle inside was very dirty and I was not able to use it. This was a shame

i had a superior sea view room it was a good size with high ceilings across from the beach. there was lots of room and good storage space. the hotel's location is perfect for the beach and a short walk to the town centre for extra activities.
the room was clean but felt underwhelming to me. the ensuite was quite small. the decoration felt a bit basic to me

there is no bar available in the hotel but you can bring takeaway food and eat it at hotel. the hotel is near a bus stop.

my twin room sea view was quiet and spacious and included a comfy bed and duvet. the bathroom looked recently renovated and it was clean and tidy. the room had high ceilings and good storage space.

the hotel is directly on the seafront and near the train station. the hotel is a short walk from the town centre and its activities. the location is very close to the beach.

the staff went out of their way to ensure guests were happy. the staff were friendly, professional and helpful when i needed assistance. they recommended some good nearby restaurants.

the breakfast was a buffet with a wide selection of options. there were cooked options alongside continental choices plus cereal, fruit and yoghurt. breakfast was available from 7.30am until 10am.
