the staff was very friendly. the room was clean, and the manager, andrew, promptly fixed a faulty lamp (he was very efficient). the food was delicious next door at the pub, a great advantage when i did not feel like venturing out for dinner.
The shower had some issues. It alternated between hot and cold water, a bit inconvenient.

Check-in occurred at the pub. It had a fireplace. A lady greeted us and showed us the room. She showed the heating system and booked our dinner. The menu had good portion sizes and was plentiful.
The hairdryer do not work. I have asthma, so the mould in the corner was not great.

the bathroom was clean! the bed felt comfortable, showcasing lovely linen. the decor felt very cute and supplied everything i needed for a relaxing stay. the separate building ensured a peaceful atmosphere, so a quiet sleep was appreciated.

the hotel is close to bus stops. the hotel is a few meters from a pub and restaurant. free parking is available! location worked perfect for me! the hotel stands separate from the pub, so i wasn't disturbed.
