a reasonable stay
clean room friendly staff poor ventilation broken shower
the room was clean it had an ensuite bathroom. the staff helped me check in quickly , made things easy. pretty much everything was as expected
ventilation in the room was poor the window was dripping. i could not open the window due to noise from the beer garden below. the shower did not work in the morning

Solid stay above a lively pub
clean room stocked toiletries quick check-in smooth experience
The room was very nice and neat with good value. My en-suite bathroom had appreciated toiletries stocked. Staff downstairs was quick to help with check-in. It all felt very smooth.
The room faced the pub courtyard, so keeping the window open meant it was noisy at times.

The pub offered fantastic food including pies and catered to gluten-free diets, and also provided a good drink selection.

The staff was friendly and super accommodating, answering questions and moving me to another room when the shower malfunctioned. Staff was helpful with any issues which i find valuable.

friendly staff comfy bed onsite parking
the staff was friendly and helpful. the room had nice decor and a comfy bed. i appreciated the convenience of on-site parking , a valuable asset in this area. the bathroom was a good size and very clean , which is always a plus.
the room was a bit too warm , even with the window open.

hearty food options are available in the pub and they offer a selection of real ales and ciders, which i found quite appealing. gluten-free options are available , catering to various dietary needs, so other guests can rest assured. the pub's atmosphere added to the overall experience.

The hotel is centrally located within the town , allowing easy access to shops and local attractions. Everything is just a short walk away. this central location made it easy to explore the area, a bonus. i was able to quickly return to my room.

The staff were accommodating when i had a minor issue with my room and promptly moved me to another. I am grateful. they were always available to answer any questions , providing attentive service.

convenient stay near town centre
superb location off-road parking car stay
the location was superb. the hotel is a short walk to the main shops. off-road parking was a definite plus. this meant my car stayed put.
the shower was a little lacklustre.

parking is on site and first come first served. the hotel is yards away from the town centre. the bus service to wells and bristol is very close.

the venue offers food. gluten-free options are available. the selection of drinks was excellent. the quality of the food was AMAZING!!!

central location off road parking
the location was central to the square. off road parking was a bonus. i don't trust waze because it sent me to the front door. access to the car park is at the rear.
the bed was very small. the duvet was also small and hardly big enough for two people. the shower was very weak.
