Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The Saracens Head is often praised for its spacious and very clean rooms, some offering views of the Alpaca farm. Guests appreciate the comfortable beds and good quality complimentary toiletries, such as White Company products. Many particularly enjoy the breakfast, finding it one of the best, and the steak/wine deal is a popular midweek option; some have found the ribeye a bit tough, though. The garden area is also a plus for many visitors.

A Romantic Escape

included breakfastfluffy towelsextensive gardens
The included breakfast was a lovely surprise! I accidentally left some cufflinks in the room. The staff called me immediately. They kept my cufflinks safe until I could retrieve them. I deeply appreciate their honesty and quick action. The 'Beautiful Double Room' was very spacious with excellent toiletries provided. The towels were super fluffy. All the amenities were useful. The bed had comfy pillows. It was the perfect spot for a restful night. The food was AMAZING!!! We received a warm greeting. The dinner was excellent. The gardens are extensive. I plan to return when the weather is nice.
There was a large green emergency light in the room. It stayed on all night. It was difficult to fall asleep with that light.
Dining
10/10
The restaurant features an extensive menu with a variety of choices, catering to different palates. The breakfast buffet included fresh pastries, a selection of fruit, and hot items cooked to order. The food was AMAZING!!!
