mixed bag experience
the location was alright, close to some downs i think.
Our room was a real letdown. It was small, barely enough space for a suitcase i swear. the bed had a metal frame, so every time someone moved, it creaked like an old pirate ship. i was woken up at 1 am by some racket downstairs, clanging and crashing, going on until around 2 am.

charming stay at the inn
cute team quiet room varied breakfast
i found the staff very young and cute. they seemed efficient and personable, which i appreciated. i stayed in a quiet room, named 'beanstalk', just as advertised. breakfast was delicious and varied, with plenty of options.
our room lacked a few amenities that were listed in the description. there was no tv. a fridge was not available, neither an iron nor a coffee machine, a shame.

the room had a comfortable bed, and the bathroom was clean. i noticed fresh towels were provided daily and there was ample storage space for my belongings. the temperature was easily adjustable.

the hotel is situated in a pretty village. it is close to local shops. i saw convenient access to public transport nearby, made exploring the area easy. there are many footpaths.

the cosy bar area offered a relaxing atmosphere and the food was delicious. i liked the fresh flowers placed on each table. the breakfast included stewed fruit and excellent coffee. there is free wifi.

helpful staff large cubicle plentiful breakfast many options
The staff was friendly and helpful. One staff member carried my bag upstairs which I appreciated. The room included a decent shower with a large cubicle. I enjoyed the plentiful breakfast that had many options.
Lighting in the bar area felt rather dim.

fresh coffee efficient staff small room bathroom condition
the breakfast offered a good start to the day. coffee tasted fresh. the staff was efficient. the location worked well for visiting nearby attractions.
my room was quite small. there was no wardrobe available for storing clothes. some cobwebs were noticeable on the windows. the bathroom looked to need some improvements.
