The hotel offers a satisfying full English breakfast with vegetarian options, and it's conveniently located on the main street, within walking distance of attractions like the 19th-century bridge and the Aston Martin factory; parking is also ample. While most find the rooms quiet, some guests have noted occasional noise from plumbing when nearby rooms use the shower.

charming hotel with great staff

helpful staffgood room sizeblackout curtainsbedroom sink
the staff were helpful and friendly with information. they showed us around, very nice. the rooms are a good size and provided everything i needed, including a hairdryer and a fan. i found blackout curtains and a good choice of pillows.
the sink was located in the bedroom, which i found odd. also, there were only plastic cups and very little toilet paper in the room. it's an old building, and the heater wasn't sufficient to fully heat the room.
Facilities
9/10
The room included a hairdryer and a fan. Very useful amenities. blackout curtains ensured a dark room for sleeping. a good selection of pillows were available on the bed.
Location
8/10
the location was quite good for my trip. access to bars and restaurants was easy. my room was quiet .
Dining
8/10
i found a little more choice at breakfast would have been useful. for example, i wanted just egg and bacon. also, there was no choice of milk, such as skimmed or full-fat.
Service
10/10
the staff were very helpful and friendly, providing all the information i needed. they went out of their way to show me around, appreciated. i definitely recommend this hotel!!!

Comfortable Stay

attentive staffexcellent breakfastquaint restaurantlimescale kettle
I found the staff very attentive in all areas. Reception, pub, and restaurant. I stayed for two nights for a family wedding. The breakfast in the quaint little restaurant was excellent. It was a lovely start to each day.
The kettle in my room had limescale. I also noticed water already inside, presumably left by a previous guest. The placement of plug sockets away from the bed was an inconvenience.
Dining
9/10
The restaurant features a varied menu. It is located in a panelled dining room. I found the portion sizes to be good. Everything was served hot.
Location
8/10
The hotel has good parking. The location is central. This made it easy to access various amenities. I appreciate the convenience it offered .
