i stayed in a really quiet room. the castle grounds feature manicured gardens. i found the breakfast varied with generous portions. staff members were attentive to guest needs.

charming castle stay
ample parking cosy feel beautiful view
i found ample parking upon arrival and the hotel had a cosy feel. i particularly enjoyed the standalone bath provided. the surrounding area offered beautiful views and plenty of nature. i dined at the restaurant one evening and again at lunchtime the food was lovely.
i noticed the shower lacked a shelf to place toiletries while showering this was a minor inconvenience. there also weren't toilet roll holders next to the lavatory in the en-suite. i hope to see these additions in the future.

the bedroom and en-suite bathroom looked generous in size and very well kept. a very comfy bed ensured restful sleep for the duration of my visit. robes and a decent fan were provided.

breakfast was available from an extensive menu that included freshly cooked options. the hotel has a sweeping drive up to the historic building. i found the staff to be attentive and helpful here.
