Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The Rutland Hotel is often praised for its spacious rooms, some even featuring large en-suites, with comfortable beds and spotless cleanliness being a common highlight. Many guests appreciate the varied and tasty breakfast offered in the big breakfast room; however, some have mentioned that the timing for meals can be inflexible. Conveniently located, it's just a short walk to Douglas centre and close to an Indian restaurant called Aura, while the seafront location and bus stop across the road make exploring easy.

thin walls street noise
The room size disappointed me. It was not as spacious as I expect. the noise from the street at night was bothersome and impacted the quality of my sleep. The walls seemed thin, easy to hear the noise.

decent stay

clean bedroom good position noisy condition hot sleep
the bedroom looked quite clean. bathrooms overall showed good upkeep and presented well. the hotel enjoys a favorable position on the promenade. it seemed convenient.
the room i had was adjacent to the lift. windows opened inward, facing ventilation from the kitchen, i found this problematic. i noted noisy conditions due to tv volume into early morning hours and kitchen fans initiating at 6 am.
