The location is really central (a definite plus!). My room was neat, and I had fresh towels and bedding. Check-in was easy, and I appreciated the simple drop-box for check-out. A kettle was in the room for making tea and coffee.
I noticed a small mark on the bedside table. Otherwise, everything was fine.

the location WORKS really well, right in the center, so getting around was easy. i FOUND the staff polite and always ready to help. the room, WHILE basic, HAD super clean bedding and towels, that is important. also, the tv had BBC iPlayer, a nice touch for evening entertainment.
the MUSIC from the bar below was a LITTLE loud, especially late at night, it did made sleeping a challenge.

although I did not eat in this hotel, I found many options for restaurants and cafes VERY close. several places offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner at reasonable prices, REALLY convenient.

the room HAD a fridge which was REALLY useful for storing drinks and snacks. i ALSO noticed that the hotel offers basic facilities like clean towels and bedding, i think its good. i didn't FIND any issues, and the facilities were adequate.

the hotel HAS a great location VERY near public transport. with its central position, reaching various parts of the town WAS easy and quick. the proximity to train and bus stations added to the convenience a LOT.

the staff was helpful, they were so nice. the location was right in centre. i found good value in it all.
the old window would not shut properly, so lots of noise leaked in. it was almost as if it was open. i did not sleep well.
