musty smelldim lighting
the room had a musty smell and the carpet had some noticeable stains. i also found that the bathroom lighting was quite dim making it difficult to see well. the bed, while okay, wasn't particularly comfortable, one side felt slightly lower than the other. these issues detracted from what could have been a better experience.

The hotel had a good location near the center. it was about fourteen minutes walking distance. i appreciate the car park. It was reasonably sized and free. the bed in my room was very comfortable too.
The hotel felt quite tired. a coffee stained heater was left in my room. my colleague's room had a torn net curtain. the breakfast was poor. The hot food looked shriveled.

The breakfast was fine and had a good selection (I especially liked the pastries).
The light above the door could not be turned off. It was very bright at night. The carpet had several burn marks and stains. It did not seem clean, so I didn't want to walk barefoot.

I was disappointed with several aspects of my stay. the tv in my room did not work. It had no signal. additionally, some of the lamps were also broken. i was expecting better, especially considering the price i paid.

the room was great value. the staff were very polite. the bar served excellent beers. all requests were swiftly met. i was well greeted and made very welcome on arrival and given very clear instructions as to how to find the room. it was clear the staff were approachable should there be any issues.
upon entry to my room, there was an odour, i tried airing the room out but had no luck. i ended up using an air freshener to do the job. shower looked dirty with black mould in the corner. carpet was stained.

my standard double room was equiped with a comfy bed and clean sheets, though the pillows were a little flat. the provided tea kettle and tea bags were a nice touch. the bathroom included fresh towels and basic toiletries.

the reception staff was very helpful and check in was fast. any requests were dealt with quickly. i found the team approachable and ready to help with directions or additional information.

i stayed in a standard double room. the room had a hot shower with plenty of power (perfect after a long day!).
