I loved the building's historical look. It added a unique charm. the staff was very friendly and helpful. i especially enjoyed the delicious croissants and the complimentary coffee available all day. it made my mornings so much better!!!

historical site fresh croissants small room noisy elevator
The building struck me first. It is a restored historical site. the terrace is gorgeous and the common spaces are quite inviting. i also found the constant availability of coffee and the fresh croissants in the morning to be a good touch.
the room was noticeably small. i also found the elevator to be quite slow and rather noisy. i wasn't particularly thrilled about the noise levels because it was a disruption.

overall good, but with some issues
great location main square peaceful terrace poor ac shower handles low cleanliness
the location was really great. i was very close to the main square and las ramblas. the hotel has a communal space. i liked the croissants and coffee on the terrace.
The air conditioning barely worked. i reported this to reception and nothing changed. the shower handles just decided when they wanted to work. I couldn't turn the shower on or off consistently. the cleanliness was not the best either.

spacious room lovely balcony morning croissants
The room's high ceiling. I also appreciated the balcony. I used it often. Coffee and tea were available all day. There were also delicious croissants each morning from 8 to 10 am.
I experienced disruptive street noise because my room faced the road. The windows did not close completely. This made it hard to sleep at times.

The hotel is close to Casa Batllo, about a five-minute walk. It's a ten-minute walk to Casa Mila, a great benefit. The central location makes many attractions easily accessible.

There is a water dispenser available. This is a bonus. The hotel has a beautifully decorated first floor. A terrace offers plenty of space to sit. I found the decor authentic.

Staff members are friendly and helpful. They are very attentive. The staff let me store luggage before check-in. They also allowed storing luggage after check-out. I found this very convenient.
