good breakfast reception lady good location
the reception lady noticed my disability and changed my room to one without stairs. the breakfast was good value. the location IS good.
the room could do with a revamp it's a bit shabby.

falling curtains dirty toilets
The room was quite disappointing. Curtains were falling down (it was annoying) and did not fully close. The basement bar had a lot of potential, but it was messy. I saw things lying around. Toilets were also dirty and moldy. The hotel also wasn't that serious, because they did not notify me of any emergency wall numbers.

mixed feelings about this stay
peeling wallpaper drainage problem
the staff were friendly and accommodating.
the room i was in was quite run-down , it had peeling wallpaper. also , the bathroom had a persistent drainage problem , the water drained very slowly from the sink.

basic stay WITH ISSUES.
faulty wi-fi hanging curtains
The wi-fi was supposedly available, but i couldn't connect AT ALL. the chef claimed they had not had wi-fi FOR WEEKS. that's A LIE! also, the curtains WEREN'T HANGING properly. I told them, but no one ever came to fix it.

an acceptable Experience
nice staff great location poor wifi manager lie
the staff WAS nice when i arrived. the location is great. it's convenient for accessing nearby attractions.
i payed for three nights but only stopped for one. my husband had diareah and sickness. i was told there was WIFI by the manager but could not get it on day leaving chef was managing the reception. he said they have not had wifi for weeks SO the manager lied to us.
