the staff was friendly. beds were comfortable, and the shower temperature was consistent after a short wait. i ate at the restaurant on two evenings, and the food was worth the price and well prepared. i would stay here again.
i noticed a lack of general upkeep in the hotel building. paint seemed old, and the windows looked aged. i also noticed the toilet paper dispenser was missing in the restrooms, and there was just a roll on the floor.

I found the staff very friendly. The location is fantastic with short walk to the beach. Breakfast included delicious sausages cooked in perfection. The bed was comfortable. I had thick curtains in my room. It kept the morning sun out. There was tea and coffee in the room. I found 24 hour reception. It was very friendly.
I have one small issue. The window was only about 8ins. It was not enough when weather is too hot.

The hotel has no ramp and steep steps at the entrance.

I found the location to be excellent. It was close to many attractions (the pier, for example) and offered easy access to the seafront. The breakfast was generous and included diverse options each morning. I especially liked the friendly staff and the cleanliness of my room. The housekeeping service was consistent and thorough.
The refurbishment created minor disturbances.
