Acceptable stay, but some issues

The location was central, offering easy access to public transportation.
The room I was given felt quite outdated. The furniture looked old and worn. The TV was so old it barely picked up any channels. Staff seemed indifferent to my requests. I asked for a modern room on a high floor but my request was ignored, annoying.

i found the staff very friendly and helpful (especially lily at reception!). the 24-hour reception was a great convenience. my room was cleaned thoroughly each day. i appreciated the effective heating facility in the room. the hotel's proximity to placa cataluña and the metro station simplified my sightseeing.
the room i stayed in faced the street, and i found it a bit noisy at times due to street activity.

the hotel is near plaza cataluña, with access to various clubs and bars. the hotel is close to la rambla. it is very close to the metro station, a definite advantage if you have heavy luggage.

the room was very nicely cleaned each day. it had super nice air conditioning. reception employees were super friendly and very helpful. i thank them a lot for their great service.
the breakfast choice was poor for the value of money. i went to breakfast and the scramble egg tray was empty and not refilled, even with time left.
