I appreciated the coffee machine in the room. The bed felt comfortable after a long day of walking. The location provided quick access to Vondelpark. A pancake cafe nearby served a delicious breakfast.

poor ventilation inconsistent temperature
My room felt a bit grim. It lacked proper ventilation and the only window looked directly into what seemed like another guest's room. privacy was non-existent unless the curtains remained perpetually drawn. the bathroom situation was also less than ideal as the shower lacked consistent temperature (it varied from lukewarm to cold) (not fun).

location was convenient, near tram stops and many attractions. i appreciated the proximity to a supermarket, made getting necessities simple. my room had big size bathroom and coffee machine. the reception also provide bigger coffee machine for guest, i saw this.
my room faced a skylight instead of a window, it made the room a bit dark during the day.

the room was clean and spacious. i appreciated the proximity to the bus stop, it made airport transfers easy. the supermarket nearby was very convenient for getting snacks.

convenient location friendly staff daily cleaning coffee tea
the location is definitely a highlight. i found it quite close to both the rijksmuseum and the van gogh museum. the staff was friendly and they cleaned my room every day. the availability of coffee and tea was a plus.
the room temperature was a bit too warm for my comfort. i couldn't adjust it to my liking. this made sleeping a little difficult.

though the hotel itself does not have a restaurant, the lobby features coffee and tea machines, available 24/7. this allowed me to quickly get a warm drink any time of day. this helped save a bit of money on beverages.

balanced stay
english speaking front desk clean room green space shower ceiling full hotel no reimbursement
the front desk staff spoke english well (a big plus for me). they were helpful in giving directions to the attractions i wanted to see. the room was clean, always a relief. its location next to vondelpark provided a nice green space nearby.
the ceiling in the shower had some issues. a large piece came loose and fell while i was showering. i wasn't offered a new room, as the hotel was fully booked (a bit disappointing).
