lovely bedding comfortable bed romantic touch
The room had lovely bedding and the bed was comfortable. I felt embraced by its softness. A complimentary tot of port added a special romantic touch. The staff were friendly, a warm welcome filled my heart.

high standard beautiful decoration unfriendly reception lack of entertainment
the room was beautifully decorated to a high standard. it was also super clean. the staff were helpful and friendly!
the main reception lady wasn't friendly! they seemed short staffed. we were told there'd be live music, but there wasn't any entertainment at all.

The location was perfect. Central and easy to reach bars and restaurants. the staff were friendly and helpful. the room was spacious and had lovely touches . the tasty breakfast offered a good start to my days.
It felt a little confining because of that.

The hotel had different cosy areas designed for relaxation. I found several spots perfect for reading. a large bathroom featured modern fixtures. the attention to detail throughout the hotel was great.

great rooms, small issue
spacious room welcome gift
the room was spacious and lovely. a tiny bottle of port and chocolate each welcomed me. i ate in the bar downstairs, it was very convenient and provided good food.
the mattress was old and sagged. both of us did not have restful sleep. i would hope for a new mattress next time.

staff was friendly with my limited mobility. they moved my room to an accessible floor with elevator access. this consideration greatly improved the experience. they were responsive to my needs.

downstairs bar convenient restaurant emergency door poor sound
the location was good. the downstairs bar and restaurant were convenient.
i got upgraded to a room, however it had what i can only think of as the emergency door to the room adjacent to me. because there was a door to the next room, i could hear everything next door. they should ensure rooms retain sound better.

Fantastic Getaway!
clean room furnished room comfortable bed
I loved the room, it was very clean and well furnished. The bar was great. The bed provided comfort. I found a superb breakfast .
I requested an extra coffee pod, and the staff looked a bit bothered by it. This surprised me because it was a small request. Ultimately, it was disappointing.

The breakfast selection was ample and varied. The dining area has an amazing design. The bar had a nice atmosphere and served a wide range of beverages.
