amazing stay above a lively pub
central location homely room thick towel fantastic restaurant
the location downtown allowed for enjoyable walks. i enjoyed the room design, it felt really homely. fresh, thick towels was provided, felt luxurious. the restaurant was fantastic with awesome music, i'll be back!
the bass from the pub was noticeable until late, even with the fan working overtime.

Central Location and Great Pub Atmosphere

The central location is great. The room décor was cozy. I especially appreciated the walk-in shower. The coffee machine in the room was a great addition.
The bass from the pub downstairs was audible until late. This might bother guests sensitive to noise.

fantastic central location
clear instructions helpful lady nice view
instructions for arrival were clear and i met a very kind, helpful lady. she showed us to our room and explained a few things. the room looked very nice, similar to the pictures. the view included the river in the background.
i noticed the bass from the pub downstairs could be heard till late.

the hotel has a great central location. i could walk to the riverside in minutes. there was easy access to nearby restaurants.

the hotel is on top of a local pub and restaurant. live music was available downstairs, a bonus. the music featured traditional scottish instruments played with enthusiasm.

staff members were friendly. terry met us the first day, showed us the room and explained how to reserve a table for dinner, as it gets very busy. doreen was cute and provided good room service.

Excellent Stay Above Lively Pub
clean room homely feel beautiful bathroom thick towel
My room was very clean it had a homely feel. The bathroom was beautiful the towels were thick and fresh. I heard no noise in my room even though there was live music downstairs. I slept very well due to this sound insulation.
I found many steps to reach my room. This could be difficult if you have heavy luggage.

clean room superb linens delicious coffee unhappy staff email description staff contact
the room was very clean. i found the bed linens and towels to be superb. there was a nespresso machine , made delicious coffee. also, the shower worked lovely too.
the person working in the pub didn't seem too happy when they let us in. it didn't feel like what was described in the email. there was no way to contact any staff about noise.
