An Okay Stay with Some Issues

The breakfast choices were pretty extensive, with many options to pick from.
The room I booked was not what I expected (honestly, a bit of a letdown). The pictures online showed something much nicer. the soundproofing was not great. I could hear everything happening outside my door.

The location is prime. It's just perfect. my room was so spacious and unbelievably clean! the staff were genuinely friendly. They helped me with everything i needed. i especially loved how pleasant the dining room was, oozing period charm!!!
This was a bit inconvenient, especially since i had a walking stick with me.

The room was big. I also had a path near my room. I found the value to be fantastic for what I paid.
My room had stains on the carpet. Cobwebs were present too. The windows could not be opened therefore the room was very warm.

The staff was friendly and helpful. I could arrange parking with staff. The bar was stocked well. The bar staff was good.
The room had evidence of water leaks. I saw cracks and stains on the walls and ceiling. The carpets looked old and stained.

the bed was comfortable. fresh clean linen and good quality towels were provided. the staff were friendly and helpful, as well. they directed us to a good eaterie nearby, because only breakfast was available at the hotel.
the signage in the hotel was not very clear. this made it a little scary to think about any emergency.

i found great value in the room i stayed in and the breakfast was really good it was self service with constant topping up so there was plenty for everyone i liked the central location it was close to both shops and restaurants. parking was available which was very helpful for me. the staff were friendly and made me feel welcome
i noticed some slight wear and tear it felt a bit tired.
