I stayed three nights on a business trip, and the staff were cute from the start. The housekeeping service ensured my room felt fresh and tidy daily. I enjoyed tasty evening meals in The Bistro. The menu offered enough variety over my stay there.
The room was overly warm, and I found no way to adjust the temperature. It was early in the year, and the outside temperatures were below 20 degrees. An adjustable thermostat would be great.

mixed feelings about this stay
peeling surfaces strong smell
my room felt dated. a strong smell from the kitchen filled the air since the window opened onto an internal area and chimneys. the peeling cabinet surfaces in the bathroom really bothered me, and i found it wasn't very clean. i left feeling pretty UNIMPRESSED.

The location is very convenient. there are shops and supermarkets a short walk away from the hotel. the hotel provides free parking, very useful. the breakfast buffet had hot and continental items. I found the cereals and fruit good. the bistro food was reasonably priced and tasty.
The lift is small. It only accommodates two people.

the hotel's location near the bus and train station was a real plus for my travels (easy access!). the helpful staff readily stored my luggage while i explored. the provided breakfast was good, especially with fresh pastries. my room was spacious and comfortable.

great location friendly staff excellent service rotting window unreliable tv poor reception
i found the location to be great. it was right next door to a pub with great food and atmosphere. the staff were cheery and friendly. the service was excellent.
the window in my room didn't open. it was also rotting at the bottom. the tv reception was unreliable due to a massive aerial in the room.
