A Perfect Seaside Escape

Lauren and Emmanuel were cute. Their warm, professional service. The room I stayed in was beautifully designed. I also appreciated the oat milk provided, with complimentary cookies, local fruit juices, and water in the fridge.
I booked a sea view room but received a room that overlooked the Turner Gallery. It offered only a partial sea view. I felt a bit let down for the price I paid given the restricted view.

beautiful decor lovely views stylish furniture welcome cookie
the hotel's location is great , near the turner contemporary and the sea. i appreciated the roof terrace with its views. the bar had a nice whisky selection, and the furniture and art were stylish. a cookie welcomed me in my room.

friendly staff homemade cookies toilet paper sign small room
the staff was super friendly and efficient. they gave proper coffee and cafetière in the bedroom. i loved the homemade cookies too. the toiletries were local and smelled heavenly plus they were in proper large glass bottles not tiny dinky plastic things
the hotel was nice i think it is still new. the room was small but stylish. the 'toilet paper only' sign above the toilet in the bathroom seemed odd. it had a travelodge vibe i did not like

The check-in process was very easy. Complimentary drinks, teas, coffee, and cookies were in the room. The bed was comfortable with soft sheets.
The room rate was expensive. I expected breakfast to be included.
