impersonal check-incold design
The lack of personal interaction with staff was a big letdown. Check-in felt impersonal. the place seemed a bit cold. The design lacked any real character, well designed but without warmth. The location was also not great. I thought.

The kitchen came well stocked. It had everything I needed for meals. The self check-in and out process was easy. Luggage storage was very handy on check out day. The area was GREAT, near the beach, and a short walk to the metro.
My room was fairly noisy because it was close to the entrance. More pillows would be GREAT. The hotel sits a bit out of town. You need to be aware of the last underground train. I had very LITTLE privacy because my room was on the ground floor.

I found the location very convenient, with easy access to a Metro line and a nearby grocery store. The kitchenette was equipped. I cooked several meals. The apartment was super clean upon arrival, something I GREATLY appreciated. The self-service laundry and luggage storage were very helpful.
I did find the lack of face-to-face contact with staff a little impersonal, though the email communication was efficient.
