Charming Stay in a Quiet Spot

I found the location to be excellent.. Just a short bus ride took me to Victoria Street. Princes Street was even closer. The neighborhood offered a welcome quiet at night. The communication with the hosts was clear. It included thorough details and instructions.
I noticed a very slight gap underneath the entrance door into the bedroom. It meant that I could hear noises from the hallway.

Though breakfast wasn't included, I noted two coffee shops within a five-minute walk from the building. I also saw a supermarket nearby, made getting supplies easy. It was super practical.

The room had comprehensive tea making facilities, with a complete range of teas available. I also saw that the toiletries offered were locally. All facilities looked modern.

adequate stay but some issues
comfortable bedroomuninviting exteriorsignificant gap
the bedroom was quite lovely and comfortable. there was also plenty of tea supplied.
the exterior appearance wasn't too inviting. the entrance door had a new key pad system, but the old lock was not repaired. the hallway floor had dead leaves. the entrance door to the ground floor bedroom had a significant gap, so noise from the hallway was easily heard and the room was cold.

Mixed feelings about the stay

The location was pretty good. It was a reasonable walk to get where i needed to go.
The room was not properly cleaned. I found someone else's hair on the bedsheets. the walls are VERY thin. I could hear EVERYTHING from the room next door. The constant noise made it difficult to sleep.
