a reasonably good stay
wide selection great breakfast friendly staff eager staff small room economy room ventilation problem real problem
the breakfast was really good. there was a wide selection of items available, and the conservatory was pretty. the staff were genuinely eager to please, so that was a plus.
The economy room was smaller than expected. i understand we booked the economy room. ventilation was a real problem in this room. it was also full of clutter, so i think the spaces felt cramped.

Central Location and Wonderful Breakfast

The hotel is located very centrally. The breakfast offered a marvellous selection of food options. Quality was fantastic, and the service was pleasant. I also appreciated the parking available onsite!!!
The room had only one high window with a vertical blind. This meant the room was very bright early in the morning. A better blind or covering would improve sleep quality.

small shower room difficult parking
The location was acceptable. A short walk to the town centre.
The small shower room was hardly functional. Turning around was a challenge! the old carpets in the dining room looked worn. They could use replacing. parking proved difficult. The allocated space was quite tight

Convenient stay close to city centre
helpful staff delicious food
the staff were indeed very helpful. a good choice for breakfast was available, and the food tasted quite delicious. also onsite free parking was convenient. the parking space allowed me to leave my car and travel by bus and train.
the room i was given turned out quite small. a window was very high, so i could not see outside. consequently, the room was very hot. i slept for only three hours.

my double room had tired decor. a lamp over the desk needed sorting. the high ceilings did ensure an airy space when weather conditions became warm.

the room staff were lovely! all staff provided helpful assistance . they allowed me to leave luggage both before check-in and after check-out. the staff were also quick to address any concerns.

breakfast included a very good range of main course options. the conservatory where breakfast was served had a quirky atmosphere. i found the breakfast service to be prompt and efficient, a definite plus.
