I noticed that the room had a chemical smell and the window did not fully open.

The staff was helpful and cute. i especially liked that tea and coffee were available in the reception area. i also appreciated the pub connected to the hotel. It even had a pool table. free parking was a great perk for me as i was driving.

the bathroom looked a bit tired, with gaps around the bath panel.

my twin room had two separate beds. the staff were helpful throughout my stay. i found the hotel easy to locate, and it provided all necessities. it was also close to a pub with nice food.

the hotel carpet looked old and somewhat worn. i think carpets in common areas could benefit from replacement to enhance the overall appearance.

the hotel is a short taxi ride from the city center. nearby eating and shops provide convenience. i was taking part in the great north run so the location of the hotel was great. it was convenient for getting around.
