The building maintains an older style that I found appealing. Staff offered consistently pleasant service . My room had a good size and the bathroom was spacious. There was blistering hot water as typical in scotland.
I noticed that the check-in time was very strict, and the front desk representative was quite curt about it.

Check-in was efficient and faultless upon my arrival. The staff was attentive, friendly and professional when providing service. There was a warm welcome from the staff , made for an easy start. They looked after all needs dining in the evening.

i loved the location, it was perfect for exploring the city! the room was spacious and comfortable. the shower and bathroom facilities were good, everything worked very well. the radiator kept the room nice and warm.
the hotel didn't provide umbrellas when the car park was a bit of a walk away and it was pouring with rain.
