a decent stay
central location fine view faulty ac early maintenance
the location was indeed very central. i especially liked that the room had a fine view of the palace. the staff was also quite friendly and helpful. we were able to check in early, a lifesaver after our long flight.
the ac barely worked and the management said there was nothing they could do. there was also too much maintenance in front of the building. it started at 6:30 am every day and was very loud.

the staff was friendly. the location worked great, its right in front of the palace. the room was super clean clean. the air conditioning worked great.
the room felt basic. there was poor lighting in the shower. this made it hard to sleep at night.

excellent stay near the palace
central location reliable information clean room
the location was central I found easy access to major attractions and the metro was nearby too. the staff offered reliable information and quick assistance. the room was spacious and clean providing a comfortable retreat after a day of sightseeing
the air conditioning barely worked and management had no solution to fix it which impacted my comfort level

poor soundproofing missing label
the room was not very soundproof. i could hear noises from everywhere. also, the details were lacking, especially considering the price. for example the shower had two containers with different colored liquids, but there was no label to indicate which was shower gel and which was shampoo..

unbearable noise jarring noise
the location was acceptable. it provided easy access to the metro.
the noise from the restaurant downstairs was unbearable. one night, a conference event took place in the restaurant. the staff started dragging equipment before 7:00 am and continued after midnight (this was so annoying). the noise was jarring and made it difficult to sleep.

Fantastic City Stay
superb location excellent service great view rooftop terrace
The location was superb I appreciated the close proximity to key attractions. The staff provided excellent service and were always ready to assist with directions and recommendations. I was pleased with the room upgrade I received I got a great view. The building had a rooftop terrace and it gave an amazing view of the Palace.
The light within the room could have been better I found it a bit dim for some tasks.

The room had good quality bedding on a comfortable bed and included a small table plus a small refrigerator. There was also a coffee maker and facilities available for tea. I was very grateful for these conveniences. The room was also quiet.

Breakfast was served next door at a café. I found the art nouveau decor to be charming. The breakfast provided a simple and hearty start to the day I was thankful for this. There were good restaurants nearby.
