mediocre stay with SOME concerns

The room i stayed in had A lingering odor. specifically, it smelled of smoke and dampness. THE bed frame was broken, which impacted the overall comfort. furthermore, the staff were not particularly cute. Their attitude did not meet expectations for a service hotel.

The staff were friendly. They recommended some good places for dinner. The location made it easy to reach the town center. The room had a microwave and plates.
The hotel appears quite tired. The room was small and offered little comfort. The bed seemed low and the mattress was thin.

The room was lovely and clean. The shower pressure was great. Reception staff were friendly and helpful (they provided quick assistance). The location is perfect, just a short distance from shops.
The address directs to the front of the building and I had to call to find out where to park. The parking was up a tiny side street. Carpets looked scruffy and worn (they need replacement). There was no mug for tea.
